Franked Mail Accountability


Mail Accountability handles distribution of reports and maintenance of accounts for authorized users of the Congressional Frank within the Washington offices of the House of Representatives, as authorized by the Legislative Branch Appropriation Act of 1992. Information concerning franking account balances and budget can be obtained by contacting your Financial Counselor in the Office of Finance, x56514.
Expenses of Official Mail are charged to a Member's Representational Allowance (MRA). The charges to the allowance come from several sources.
