Diplomatic Passports are available to Members only for Diplomatic travel only. Diplomatic
Passports expire with each Congress, but are valid for a total of 5 years (this means that you
must renew your passport each Congress). There is no fee for an Diplomatic Passport. |
- If you do not currently have a current passport, complete the application DSP-11 and
submit a certified copy of your birth certificate. Do not sign this application. The signature
must be witnessed by a Passport Agent (available in B225 Longworth on a walk-in
basis). If you have a Tourist Passport that was issued within the last 12 years, complete
form DSP-82 and submit the Tourist Passport as birth evidence.

- Enclose 2 identical passport photos...for Diplomatic Passports, the Sergeant-at-Arms ID
office located in 321 Cannon will take your photos. Please bring a staff ID and be
prepared to fill out a form indicating what the photos are to be used for.

- If you are renewing your Diplomatic Passport, you will only need to complete your

order to use form DSP-82). If your Diplomatic passport was issued more than 5 years ago,
