Radio/TV Gallery Press Conference Information
| PRESS CONFERENCES Can a Member book a press conference in your studio? No. To be interviewed in the Gallery studio a Member must be invited by a broadcaster who guarantees to be present for the interview. The broadcaster will then book the studio time. Only Members of Congress may be interviewed. Can a Member book a press conference at the Triangle? Yes, if the Member will be participating in the event. The Member's staff needs to advise us of the date, time, and subject matter. Nonmembers may participate in the event. We do request notification as soon as possible if the event is canceled. Can the Gallery staff help with media at an event (hearing, photo op, stakeout, etc.)? Yes. We can provide onsite assistance if many cameras and reporters are expected to attend, or we can offer advice for smaller events. We can also help coordination with the Capitol Police. |
