Dwight Comedy

A native Washingtonian, Dwight graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Mass. with a degree in Economics in 1976. He then joined the family business in sales and service of photographic equipment and performing photography services after graduation and remained in the family business for 14 years. After leaving the family business and moving on to become Director of Marketing for a small 8a firm selling custom software solutions, he became a contract photographer for the U.S. Corp of Engineers, and the War College at Ft. McNair providing photographic services, processing photography and supplies in 1993.

Since August 1995, Dwight has served the House of Representatives as the Director of the Office of Photography.

Dwight is what you would call an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and the game of Golf.

Bertha (Dolly) Seelmeyer

Born in West Virginia, raised in Ohio, Pennsylvania and California, Dolly has lived in Las Vegas, New York City and on Long Island.

She studied Photography in Manhattan and has photographed off-Broadway theater productions and actors. Dolly has worked for a weekly newspaper on Long Island doing photo features and spent three years doing Washington feature photo layouts for a newspaper chain of twenty-three papers across the United States. She printed and provided all the papers with photographs.

Dolly has worked on "the Hill " since 1970 and was a photographer to the Congress from 1972 to 1996. She has been in her current position since August 2, 1996.

A true artist, Dolly enjoys working with stained glass, bicycling and being a mother and housewife.

David Roth

Began service to the U. S. House of Representatives in February 1987. as a Photographers' assistant, simultaneously training as a photographer while assisting lab technicians in developing and processing black & white film. February 1988 to the present; became a Senior photographer and was responsible for photographing Members and their constituents, State of the Union Addresses, Presidential Inaugurations, and accompanying Official Congressional Delegations on domestic and international travel.

Steve Rusnak

House Photographer for 16 years. Likes the Redskins, Bullets and the Yankees. Yes, and taking pictures on the weekend, in the great outdoors.

Bob Lewis

Joined the Recording Studio staff 01/94. Worked in the photo lab, and assisted in the Radio & TV studios. Started photography as a hobby at 13. Worked at various photo labs for 15 years before coming to the House. Likes to photograph scenery in the western U.S., Backpacking, and Fishing. Joined the Office of Photography 8/95.

Peter Nguyen

A. Former Vietnam Government Official. Moved to the U.S.A. after the fall of Saigon when he was forced out of his homeland to start a new life in the U.S. with a variety of employers. The American Red Cross, The Xerox Corporation, The Washington, Post and finally, working for the House of Representatives Office of Photography as a photo lab technician. Photography has been his hobby since he was a High School student. His artistry, skill and knowledge in the use of image processing techniques has come from books, magazines, Photographic seminars, Photographic Conventions, and from his on the job training. In early 1986 he was given the task of setting up the color photo lab for the office of photography and has risen to the post of Chief of Lab Operations.
