Job Summary:
A high energy Democratic Member seeks a Legislative Assistant who is energetic and creative, and has the ability to work extended hours during the legislative session. The Science and Energy Legislative Assistant will focus on bills that are referred to the Science Committee as well as other issues that are assigned by the Legislative Director (LD). The incumbent will keep the Member and the LD informed of pending Science Committee legislation as well as other assignments dealing with the energy industry. Capitol Hill experience preferred.
