Job Summary:
Incumbent acts as a senior level technical consultant providing guidance, and participates as a lead technical contributor in communication systems analysis, development, and maintenance projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience. Seven years of applicable working knowledge of a specific network technology such as SNA, Ethernet, FDDI, Frame Relay, WAN services and/or UNIX and network administration. Familiarity with the International Standard Organization Open System Interconnection Reference Model. Working knowledge of one or more protocols, such as IEEE 802, Internet Protocols, HDLC, FAX Group III and IV, ISDN, Common Signalling System #7, System Management Protocols, FTP and FTAM, SMTP, and X.400, X.25, MNP, PERMIT, VT, and TELNET. Working knowledge of one or more operating systems such as MVT, UNIX, and MS/DOS. Working knowledge of Integrated Circuit Technology. Working knowledge of a programming language such as "C", or other high languages. Working knowledge of Apple compatible products including AppleTalk, MAC
