Job Summary:
Incumbent acts as an integral technical consultant providing guidance, and participates as a technical contributor in communication systems analysis, development, and maintenance projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of SNA including MVS/VTAM/CICS/NCP. Familiarity with the International Standard Organization Open System Interconnection Reference Model. Working knowledge of one or more protocols, such as IEEE 802, Internet Protocols, HDLC, FAX Group III and IV, ISDN, Common Signalling System #7, System Management Protocols, FTP and FTAM, SMTP and X.400, X.25, MNP, KERMIT, VT and TELNET. Working knowledge of Network Operating Systems, such as Novell's Netware or Sun's Network File System. Working knowledge of one or more operating systems such as MVS, UNIX, and MS/DOS. Working knowledge of Integrated Circuit Technology. Working knowledge of programming language such as Assembly, "C", or other high languages. Working knowledge of Apple compatible products including AppleTalk, MAC.
