Cost of Enrollment

You and the Government share the cost of your enrollment, under current law, the Government pays 60 percent of the average high option premium of six of the largest health benefits plans in the Program, but not more than 75 percent of the total premium for any plan. After the Government contribution is deducted from the total cost, you pay the remainder of the premium through salary withholdings. Premiums are adjusted annually; the amount you would currently pay under any plan in the Program is shown in the most recent Plan Information Brochure and Plan Comparison Chart applicable to you.
