THE OCR READING AREAS:
The Optical Character Reader begins its search for an address 1/2" from the left edge to 1/2" from the right edge of the piece of mail. Also, the reader looks from the bottom edge up to 5/8 of an inch for the Bar Code, then looks up from the bottom edge 2 3/4" for the address. Keep the Bar-code Area Clear and plan to show the address in the OCR Read Area. |
